How Our Designs Come to Life with DTG

Have you ever looked at a Style-UB t-shirt and wondered how such a detailed and colorful design ended up on that fabric? Welcome behind the scenes of our creative process, from idea to delivery.

What is DTG?

DTG stands for Direct-to-Garment printing. Unlike traditional screen printing, which uses screens and layered inks, DTG works like an inkjet printer – but for clothing. The result: ultra-detailed designs, perfect gradients, and vibrant colors, even on small runs.

From Idea to Design

It all starts with an inspiration – an artistic movement, an emotion, an urban scene. Our designers work on high-resolution files, ensuring that every detail is sharp and that colors are optimized for DTG printing. Background transparency is crucial: it allows the design to blend naturally with the fabric.

Garment Preparation

Before printing, the t-shirt is treated with a special pre-treatment that allows the inks to adhere perfectly to the fibers. This step is invisible but essential for color durability.

The Printing Process

The garment is laid flat on the DTG machine's platen. In a few minutes, the print heads deposit water-based inks directly onto the fabric, layer by layer, with millimeter precision.

Fixation and Quality Control

After printing, the t-shirt passes through a tunnel dryer to heat-set the inks. Each item is then visually inspected before being packaged and shipped.

Why We Chose DTG

Because it allows us to offer complex designs with no minimum order, work on demand, and never waste. Every Style-UB t-shirt is printed only when you order it – that's our commitment to more responsible fashion.
